I have a model that has several layers and I also have several layouts . I have turned on the layers that I want in the 2nd row of the layouts when it is made active , which are different for all of my layouts , The problem I have is that when I go back into model space and change any Layer settings it messes up all of my layouts . --Is there a way to lock the layer visibility in each Layout so that I don’t wreck my drawings that I might want to print later by doing anything on the model ?
You may want to investigate the commands HideLayersInDetail and ShowLayersInDetail… --Mitch
