I use the layers and properties tabs ALL the time. I’m wondering if it’s possible to achieve the following. If not, I’m hoping that this can be included in a future release.
This is how I layout the panel, with properties next to layers.
I can take either tab and make it floating, but I want to have it possible to dock the properties (or any tab) under the layer panel, for efficiency of space use. This would save me having to switch tabs so often.

Just drag the Layer tab to “cut it loose” from the rest, dump it somewhere in a viewport, and then drag it near the bottom of the tabs section - the blue indicator will show you where it’ll “park” itself, when you release your mouse button.
