Hatch pattern for plan and section view

Hi,

I’ve read in a number of forums that you shouldn’t use the plan view anymore because it is a bit archaic and you should use the real time engine and export.

I was wondering if there is a way currently of changing the hatch pattern of the cut in hidden view to a solid color or something else then because in the plan view function you can but it takes forever to load.

Hi @james.churchill you can assign section attributes to Rhino geometry from the properties panel:

In the case of VisualARQ objects, you can do it from the styles dialog as well:

These patterns will be visible when the object is sectioned by a level or by a VisualARQ section, in any display mode.
