I am working on a drawing in Rhino WIP Mac and when rendering the drawing an older drawing appears as a ghost behind the drawing and also after a retrace that same drawing appears again as a ghost. That same drawing is not open in another window but was created in the WIP version.

Could you post the output from the Rhino SystemInfo, a few images, and a 3dm file? I’m having a hard time imagining what you are looking at.

Hello Wim,
I am not sure where to start but there seems to be many problems with the renderer in WIP 9 Mac. I sent you a couple of screen shots showing the ghost image behind my drawing that appears either when starting reytrace or exiting raytrace. You will see below a better example.
First however, I made a drawing that I completed a few weeks ago and I opened it recently to change something and when I used the retrace mode two colors on two surfaces(red and gray) disappeared and I was left with the blue that you see below. What seems to happen is the two surfaces that are colored disappear during the rendering. When I first finished the drawing I rendered it without difficulty. I did not save any changes when I opened it recently so when I open it again all is well except when I try to render it either with retrace or the renderer.
Also, when in raytrace and I want to go back to the shaded or render mode the right click on the mouse has great difficulty to bring up the panel with the different mode choices. I have to go to the menu bar and even then it does not react in a reasonable time.
Lastly, I have the impression that when pressing Command Z you can’t go back.
