This machine does not have vray installed or any other plugin (i think).

I turned back on everything on my main machine (windows startup stuff, usb hardware, etc).
Rhino is ok.
As soon as I activate Vray plugin, that slowing thing happens…
Is this an already known issue?
Any solution?

Since you found out that this is clearly related to V-Ray, you’ll have to inform ChaosGroup about the issue.

I’ve contacted them.
They told me they know this issue and should be resolved for the next major release. (Vray Next?)

Thanks for the help.

Apparently this is fixed in V-Ray 4.0 beta.

My problem is not caused by VRay as I have it not installed. And it’s behaving exactly the same like Riccardo Majewski posted on November 2018 in this thread. Even fresh installation of Rhino 6. Any solutions already? Similar issues from different users? I just ran windows fresh install and installed all possible new drivers. My GPU is nVidia GT 750M.

So I did some troubleshooting. When I force Rhino to use integrated graphic chip, it works just fine (except that 3D model looks just bad). But when I let Rhino use nVidia GeForce 750M, it’s lagging as described above. Drivers are updated, everything just fine, I did fresh Windows install. Any ideas?

Hello - can you run SystemInfo and post the results with the nVidia chip in action and again with the integrated chip?
