Extraction of Point Set Deviation Points

Could someone help me extract a set of points on a surface for comparison, not control points. The “Point Set Deviation” tool works great but if I could copy the points or adjust density of the points taken that would be even better.

Hello- one way is to Mesh the object and feed the resulting mesh to PointDeviation rather than the surface - you can control the density of the mesh in the detailed mesh controls. By default, PointDeviation uses the render mesh of a surface.
