Export to Cinema 4D

Hello,
what is the cleanest way to export to Cinema4d? Does anyone else use this workflow?
I tried OBJ, but my meshes get subdivided. DWG (which I used to use with FormZ) doesn’t form volumes.
It would be wonderful if I could preserve materials and layers.

I am somewhat desperate… any recommendations?

Export as .FBX. That will import fine in C4D and will keep material assignments. You may need to adjust some materials in C4D. Note: your layer structure will carry over to C4D, so best to keep good organization in Rhino. This workflow works really well.
