Edge rounding is killing textures

I currently have a very annoying new problem. The edge rounding no longer works together with textures. If I set the check mark for rounding in the properties, my textures become a uniform mash when rendering and in the raytraced view. I need this all the time and would be super grateful for a quick solution. Thank you!


this looks like a bug to me.
are you on the latest version ?
did you try release candidate ?
I am on a mac and I can’t repeat it.

I guess you need to share a minimum file that shows the error - and a systemInfo.

@BrianJ might be the correct person to investigate more ?

meanwhile there might be a workaround by using “_extractRendermesh” and then reset / reassign the mapping of the material.

I believe it has to do with RH-66231 Texture mapping wrong on edge softened render mesh, and RH-81433 Edge Softening messes up Rendered view UV mapping
