Displaymodes not consistent when printing layout

Working in rhino 7. ive set some objects to a different display mode using setobjectdisplaymode, but when i print, it does not retain the lighter color objects. i would like to keep printing as vector and not raster and keep print color not display color

Hi Stevie -

I can’t tell from those images which object has which display mode.
Please post a simplified 3dm file.
If you have custom display modes, you will need to export those and post them as well.

i would like my print display to look like the first picture, however when i change to print display or use ctrl+p the view looks like the two last pictures. im able to get the desired effect by changing output color to display color in the print popup screen, but that would require me to change the color of different objects. how can i make my print match the ghost hidden display mode that ive applied to some objects using setobjectdisplaymode

attached is two custom display modes and a sample file.

Hi Stevie -

I can reproduce that behavior in Rhino 7 here.
This works as expected in Rhino 8 and the WIP.
