Displacement, edge soften and more icons missing

When I have a closed poly surface selected, in the object properties. Some of the icons are missing. Such as Displacement and Edge Soften.

Hello - it looks like Vray is the current renderer - make Rhino Render current and you should see different stuff… any luck?

Hi Pascal,

the current render is set to rhino and still no luck.

I thought VRAY might be the problem so I disabled VRAY and restarted Rhino with it disabled but still no luck.

Hello- can you please look in Options > PlugIns page for the RendererDeveloperKit plug-ins (two) and make sure these are enabled and loaded?

Hm… and just making sure - your selection there is what, to get that set of icons? A brand new file with just a box made and selected… same?

I have also uninstalled 7 and reinstalled it to no prevail.

Got it, thanks… I do not know- can you please run SystemInfo in Rhino and copy/paste the results here?
Also, please check in Plug-ins for the ‘Displacement’ plug-in - is that one enabled/loaded?

OK - great… still trying to figure out why, though…
