Discourse: Profile savings get restored to old settings

Hi @sam,

in my user discourse profile I have added a forum to categories watched, here resellers. When I delete it, this day it is deleted, on the next day my old settings are restored and I have in watched again the resellers forum.

Any ideas?

Removing a watched category in your user preferences does not remove the watch state from all existing topics in that category.

It simply means no new topics in that category will become watched.

Or maybe I am not understanding what you mean here? I had a little trouble following what you wrote?

Hi Jeff,

in the last weeks my categories “Watched” were set back every day:

Now it seams to work.
