Dimensions / Dimension Points left behind when moving objects

I am trying to select and move all the objects (image 1) together. However, after the move command is complete, some of the dimension strings are left behind (image 2). I tried grouping the selection before moving, no difference. I have also had this happen where just one point of the dimension string is left behind. Just a bug maybe?

Hello - what does commandHistory show after the move? Can you post a file that shows this problem, or send to tech@mcneel.com with a link back here in your comments?

The commandHistory shows “History failed to update 3 objects.”

I have attached an example file that shows this. If you select all, and move in any direction, the three objects should be left behind.

Hi Brittni -

Thanks for that file. I’ve put this on the list for a developer to take a look at → RH-82494 History: Annotations Left Behind when Parents Move

When I create new annotations in those locations, those behave as expected and move along with the other objects. Do you know if these were created with an earlier version of Rhino? If not, can you reliably reproduce a workflow that creates annotations that are left behind?
As I state in the YT ticket, I suspect there’s nothing that can be done with those 3 annotations in this file…
