Decals (don't) switch direction when surface is mirrored (and stuff)

Hi,

where does everyone map UVs? I figured it can’t be Rhino …

When I map a decal on a surface and than mirror said surface the decal gets mirrored correctly but stay facing “Forward” or “Backward” instead of swithing this direction. This means that they get projected on the opposite side of the object. Can I as a hotfix get a script that reverses all decals on an object, please, please, please?

Also is there a hardcap on the number of decals? I Can´t go past 32 - the placement breaks apart. Also when I tried to bake the texture It failed miserably. (Threw the decals all around)

If Rhino really isn’t meant for this kind of texture mapping is there a free and easy equivalent? I tried Blender but I can´t even get the mesh exported from Rhino (to .obj) to behave properly in Blender.
