Crash after changing render material

Hello,

I have been using rhino for 3 years, and have consistently had issues with rendering. Currently, every time I try to change the render material for a layer, the whole programme shuts down.

Hi Lucy -

Is that also the case when you set the render material for a layer in a new file from a factory-default template and without any other files open?
