If I create a clipping plane in the top view, how do I make that clipping plane also work in perspective ?
I have read you change viewports in clipping plane properties but can’t seem to find it ?

Check the right side panels. There should be a “Clipping plane” dropdown menu when a clipping plane is selected, where you can check the views it is applied to:

I hadn’t noticed that.
Out of interest why are there two perspective tick boxes ?
The top one didn’t do anything, the bottom did ?

My guess is that somehow, a second perspective view is saved on your file. Maybe a script did it, or you did create it inadvertently?
