Circular Floor

Hi everyone,

I am trying to create a circular Floor from GH to Revit and when I set a circle as a boundary the floor component does not work. However, when changing the geometry to a polygon it works perfectly. Does anyone have experience it?

Thanks in advance!

What’s your Rhino.Inside.Revit version?

Hi everybody,
I was trying to create a simple circular slab with Rhino Inside Revit. If I use the shape of a circle, the error attached to the message appears. If i use a poligon it works properly. Do you have some explanation? Can I do with circle in some way? Thank you in advance

hmm that’s not a geometry error. Does this continue if you close Revit and start a new session? What version # of Rhino.Inside.Revit are you running?

Yes, it continues also after starting a new session. Here the features

I merged the duplicate posts, are you working on the same project?

Still not able to replicate.

Please post your Revit file if possible. Thanks

I’m able to replicate this in Revit 2021.1.4. Thanks for reporting(twice). It looks specific to pre 2022 Revit versions.

Prova revit.rvt (8.2 MB)
SOL_SlabDesign.3dm (19.4 KB)
UpliftGeometry.gh (50.7 KB)

These are the files. So, is it a problem related to Revit version?

We’ll get this fixed as soon as possible.

Keep an eye out for the next RC 1.10 version (not the one highlighted), this will have a the fix. The Daily Build 1.11 has the fix but contains potentially unstable features and not suitable for production work. Feel free to test though.

Thanks.
