here is an embarrassing question. I want to chamfer an edge bit not symmetrically 1:1 but 1:5
Do I really have to model this manually?

yes and if you are chamfering such that a surface will completely have to disappear, Rhino will often fail to do this, so better do it manually with some straight lofts. It will take only a few seconds though
but when you camfer curves, you just need to write 1,5 and you will have the needed results. This method unfortunately does not work with chamfer edges. Just doesn’t make any sense to me.
chamferSrf has that option but you will need to make some adjustments.
exactly, it works everywhere except on chamferEdge when you work on a solid and not surface.
