Certain elements disappear only in Render View

Hello,

Im on an M1 MacBook Air and have recently installed Rhino 7 evaluation. After I do a patch command, all the other elements seem to disappear when in Render view except for curves. Meshes, surfaces all seem to disappear. They are still there when I click in the space for which the object occupies and that seems to make everything visible but the moment I deselect, the problem persists. Further, wireframe has no issues. In shaded and x ray view, I cannot view it at all and it even seems like it is glitching. I have attached a screen recording. I apologize for the quality but I had to export it as 480p to get the file size down. Any thoughts?

Here is my system info:

Hi -

Is this file-specific or does it also happen when you create a new file from a factory-default template, create, e.g., a box and a few curves and then make a patch?

Hi Dekeyser

Thanks for your response. I noticed that this problem is not consistently happening. I tried the same workflow again and it seemed fine. Not sure! When I opened up a new file from templates and just created a few curves to patch (or loft, lofting also showed this problem), it then occurred. I noticed that when I tried deselecting shadows from the Display panel for Render, certain elements started to disappear again.

try resetting your view mode.
