Can't select Squished QuadRemesh? (Rhino7)

I can’t seem to select a Squished mesh. My work-flow is: import mesh, trim mesh in different areas, QuadRemesh, split Quadmesh, Squish.

My mesh squishes fine, but then I can’t select it. I saved and reopened the program, but I still can’t select it, so now it’s just stuck there.

Also, when you pan/orbit around, the squished part disappears. Similarly, I don’t see the squished part in Top View.

Edit: So odd! I hit Ctrl+A and was able to select everything. After that, I can now select the squished part and see it in the top view.

Hello - for now, select the original mesh, Invert to get the flattened version and then RebuildMesh on that. I’ll see if I can reproduce the problem.

This fix may be in the 7.5 release candidate now available:

you can get the fixed (7.5) version by changing the ‘Update frequency’ in Options > Updates and Statistics page to ‘Service release candidate’

SplitDisjointMesh seems to correct it too.
