Can We? Multiple Team linked to a single domain

I’m looking for information about how we could accomplish the following.

We have multiple “teams” within our company. We’d like to create at least two pools of licenses to ensure that one critical team is not competing with other users for their licenses.

We’d like to maintain the single-sign-on functionality of a domain joined team for both segments. So is it possible to have two teams joined to a single domain, and then control which employees are part of the Critical Team with its license pool?

I don’t know if that’s possible.
As far as I know, linked Domains are an all or nothing thing.
@will or @brian will know.

I believe to accomplish what you want, you can’t use a single linked Domain.
Each person would need their own individual login, and could be made Members of one or more different license Teams.
