I am making this parametric truss, the wood elements are changeable and the steel plate connections too, all according to the set design domain at the very start of the script…
I am trying now to engrave text (numbers) on each element that is slotted to each other. So for instance on a plate end 1 and on a timber end 1 where they connect. The plate needs to be 3d printed so I faced the issue of having to engrave text for 3d printing. I tried multiple things but I am really stuck still, have you got any ideas?
the plates are currently made as closed Breps.
