Hi, I was trying to print some drawings into PDF in which some text fields contain uppercase letters with diacritics (eg. Á, Š, Č or Å doesn’t really matter) and in those fields the characters suddenly print bigger (their position stays the same though which means a lot of letters merge or overlap). Sometimes even only part of the text field gets affected. Lowercase letters are unaffected, I guess the problem is the diacritical marks that go above standard character height. Also, this only happens with Vector Output. Font doesn’t matter, this is happening even with default Arial which of course contains all the required characters.
This was using newest 8.29.26041.10001
I’ve since downgraded to 8.28.26034.09001 where everything works correctly.
Here’s a simple test file:
rhino-bug-diacritics.3dm (91.0 KB)
What it looks like in the viewport:
What it looks like in the Print dialog with Vector Output selected (this is also what actually gets exported into PDF):
What it looks like with Raster Output (everything OK):
Bug Vector Output.pdf (26.8 KB)
Bug Raster Output.pdf (252.3 KB)
And here’s Vector Output with version SR28 (also OK):
