BUG ? Layers mouseclick is buggy

Hi

Mouse click inside the Layer panel is buggy.

Version 8 Mac (8.15.25019.13002, 2025-01-19)
I can see there are other mentionings of this since october 2024.
Some of these bugs are super annoying , when in a concentrated workflow.
I hope you fix it soon

Here are my observations.

  1. Left click on layer “Lightbulb” icon on/off and “Lock layer” icon on/off , requires mouse movement in between clicks, to switch between states.
One cannot simply rest mouse over icon and click on-off.
(2 mouse clicks with no mouse movement yields no change in status)

  2. Left click on a main layer WITH SUBLAYERS chooses that layer, but _Enter does not highlight the Layer Name.
Leftclick and Enter on Sublayers works fine, highlighting the name
Seems like trying to highlight the Name on a main layer (LeftClick and Enter) starts a conflict between last used command and High Light Layer name. Consecutive Enter input will either toggle last used command, and sometimes toggle highlight Layer Name. Seems at random to me, and strange, since mouse has just left-click chosen the layer.

  3. Commands that require several _Enter commands during execution, do not get the _Enter command, if mouse is inside Layer panel. Especially not if any layer is chosen (with a single left click). Conflict described in 2) is happening instead. One has to move the mouse out of the Layer panel, and left click somewhere on Viewport, before _Enter can be registered in the command sequence.

I have some other small details I would like you to pay attention to:

  1. Regression: When deleting a layer, the chosen layer shifts to the bottom layer in the panel. This is super annoying, especially in projects with many layers. I suggest focus shifts to the layer just above or below the deleted layer.

  2. Regression: When right clicking on the Layer property button in Properties panel, an overview list appears, BUT the inspected object is now placed at the very bottom of that list. It should be positioned right under the mouse, since I have just right-clicked on that objects layer button, and my eye focus is off course where the mouse is. It doesnt make sense that I have to search for the object again. The very purpose of that right click list is to provide a quick visual overview of where that object is located in layers, right ?

Thanks
