Broken Boundary when splitting or trimming object


I have been having some difficulties with splitting and or trimming one surface with another surface. Every time I trim a surface, it ends up going outside its boundary line and seems to ignore some of the curve points. As a result, it looks sloppy. I’ve tried several different approaches nothing seems to give me a clean result Does anyone know how to fix this bug? Thanks

Hi, thanks for the quick response! Yes, the wireframe displays correctly. Would I then have to change my mesh settings to smooth and slower?

I changed it to smooth and slower and it definitely![ helped, but there are still some areas that are inaccurate. Is there something I can change in the custom settings to get to work?
