I almost never put textures on materials, so I’m kind of lost. I simply want to put a brick texture on a bunch of planar surfaces, with consistent size and orientation. How do I do that in rhino 5? I’d also want it to translate into a 3d pdf, but that’s lower priority.
Would you also need to know how to create and apply a brick texture, or just how to get it to map consistently?
For the latter:
There is an option to add custom UV mappings to objects.
Find it at properties with all objects selected, to ensure the same mapping is applied to all surfaces consistently.
Also find in that row of icons an option to show (and Hide) the mapping widgets for later tweaking once the mapping is applied.
