Booleansplit failed

i want to booleansplit but split failed.

Can anyone tell me why the Boolean split fails on this polysurface?

Can anyone tell me why the Boolean split fails on this polysurface?

When I open your file, I notice this:

When I then explode the object and rebuild the edges, joining those shows this:

Those edges don’t line up.

Forcing edges to join with JoinEdges will lead to problems in downstream operations.
