ViewCaptureToFile should capture exactly what I see on the screen, instead the arrowheads becomes much bigger. Why? (this is with PrintDisplay=On)
Yep i find it annoyingly ugly as well. Seems a small change shorten the line by 1/2 arrowheadlength while not moving the arrowhead…
These arrow bugs seem like a small thing, but if fact, because of them I have to place all the arrows for the diagrams i’m making in indesign (Affinity Publisher actually). Which takes a lot more time than in Rhino and makes me use a software which i don’t really need for making diagrams.
Here is the reason, why Arrowhead are displayed “incorrectly”:
same here. i don’t want to fire up Siemens NX everytime i want perfect arrows. or postprocess it in inkscape.
Yes, well… i understand what @Helvetosaur is saying.
But it’s just an arrowhead, not rocket science, I’m sure it can be improved somehow. It will save a lot of time for us.
To get proper scale, there is the workaround of using leaders, eg. with no text. It doesn’t solve the issue of arrows being plain ugly, though.
Besides fixing arrows, it would be great to get advanced linetypes in rhino9 for example like these:
There are plenty more advanced linetypes engineering professions use, it would be cool to be compatible with them. I guess arrows need to be implemented in a similar manner to the arrows, both are on my wishlist
Either way, I personally would prefer existing functionality being fixed (arrows) over adding less essential new features.
have a look at this thread @omichalek. this is basically your advanced linetypes for engineering wish.
awesome, thank you!
