I am currently creating diagrams and, as the grey background in the layout is annoying me, I am simply creating them in the viewport with the printDisplay on, which actually works well, except for the size of the arrowhead, which does not seem to be adjustable.
hm, that is strange indeed, i dont use dimensions recently, i did never notice that. one work around if you want things printed and pretty is to explode the leader and use a hatch to fill the arrow head.
@Gijs could you have a look? i think there is something wrong with leaders and dimensions, i tested with 7 and 5 and there it works as expected. in Rhino 8 the lines overshoot the arrows when printed or set to PrintDisplay. actually the arrows undershoot more precisely worded.
@stevebaer why this is this set to future when it already had been working before? i never noticed since i never made any prints from v8. but that is actually quite an important issue.
i must also say that this has less to do with wide curves but happens on any curves, you just see it stronger on thicker curves.
Thanks @Helvetosaur,
I somehow thought that, but since I did not find it neither in the layout properties by right-clicking on the “Page1” tab nor in the properties where you can change the viewport colours I gave up.
you are right. after checking properly once more on v5 and v7 i must admit that my lines where apparently never thick enough to notice. i am quite surprised.
but on the other side i found a few of these complaints over discourse that stayed unnoticed. so there is a bit more demand for it than noted in the tracker, just to point that out.
