when i use sub object selection whith “ctrl+shift+click” and extruding it using " click + ctrl " with gumball it work correctly but when selected surface are pushed back at the edge other surface remain ! do u have any suggestion how to fix that ? 
in this scenario, once you sub_object select the face, you don’t have to use the ctrl key in order to push/pull it… just use the mouse and the gumball arrows.
