I am trying to add a line based detail item to my Revit model. When I plug it into the detail item I get the error message to use “Add Detail item (Curve), but I don’t see that in the list. Where can I find it? If I use the “Add Component (Curve)”. I get the same error message.
That error / tip is coming from Revit, the Add Detail Item (Curve) is on the feature request pile.
Here is a basic scripted implementation to get you started if that is an option (no element tracking)
