1D Stretch in Rhino?

Hello everyone,
I’m currently learning Rhino. I need to stretch a simple object in 1D but want to keep the start and end parts unchanged. When I tried using the ‘Stretch’ command, it didn’t work as expected and created many extra lines. Could someone recommend a suitable command for this?

Thank you!

-ctrl/shift-select one side of the part you want moved and then move it with either the gumball or the move command, then do the same for the other side

CageEdit command CageEdit | Rhino 3-D modeling
PreserveStructure=Yes does not add control points and the corresponding isocurve.
Deformation=Local allows limiting where the deformation takes place through Radius and Falloff.
Try Line, Box and BoundingBox cages.

I ended up using ‘MoveEdge,’ and it worked well. Thank you all for the information—I really appreciate it!

Thank you for the information. That’s a convenient way to stretch, but unfortunately, it doesn’t work well in this situation. It would be useful for other objects.
