Need help scaling the middle section of a profile block with a curve

I’m working in Rhino and Grasshopper with a block profile (as shown in the image). I need to scale only the middle section along a curve, leaving the top (with holes) unchanged.

is your “curve” always a (straight) line ?

Quick way to do it if you don’t need to do this in GH. Split, SCALE1d the middle piece, boolean together.

In the previous example the middle section scaled independent of the other geometry. Not really sure what you want here.
