Hi guys,
I am trying to create a Zollinger roof structure for my design project using grasshopper, see image below.
I have tried to recreate this structure but as you can see below, it is not the same.
The lamella pieces should go like this, see below.
Does anyone know how to resolve this? I have attached my grasshopper script below. Thanks.

Hi - Have you seen this thread/post?
Daniel is right, it depends on curvature.
If you have a barrel vault then U beams will be shifted more than U directions.
Diamond grid is a bit better though (a bit).
If you think about Zollinger system instead of Recirpocal all beams are at the same eccentricity for a barrel vault.

Hi Wim,
I’ve just had a look at this and it seems very promising.
Thanks!
Rishi
This isn’t there yet but I believe it takes several steps in the right direction? The ‘U Count’ slider (number of transverse sections) is set to always be odd for a specific reason…

Surface is internalized, no need for Rhino file. Slider in blue group shortens the segments, leaving a small gap between them.

Thanks Joseph,
This has now been solved in another chat, someone used a plugin called NGon which helped to create the correct structure.
