⌘Z and ⇧⌘Z very slow

I am having major delays using cmd Z. Using the command (in particular after hiding objects or levels) appears immediately colored ball and are also needed 10 seconds before it works. Has anyone else had the same problem?

Hi Zslmon,
Yes - I run Mavericks too. But mine system is a MacBook Pro is a little older, 2.7 GHz Intel i7, have a GeForce650M, 16gb RAM. However, I use a usb keyboard and or the built-n laptop keyboard. I notice you have a wireless Bluetooth, at least on your system details. You may want to try a usb keyboard and see if the problem is better.

I am not getting the slow down you report with the shortcuts to undo/redo and with my model. It may also be related to your model. I would appreciate getting a model from you and procedure to repeat the issue. If I can duplicate this issue here on my system, then I can have one of the developers look at it.

I have experienced the “colored ball”, but at random times and very infrequently. So far they have not been repeatable. More often I see it after a long day of model when system resources are short. Still I am looking for a pattern, that has been illusive as yet. If you prefer to send me the model/procedure privately, please email mary@mcneel.com.

Thanks for testing Rhino for the Mac.
Sincerely,
Mary Fugier

Thanks for the reply. In fact I have the keyboard BT download and I had not thought of that possibility. I just replaced the batteries and I’ll do more tests tomorrow. If the problem persists it will provide a file.
Thanks.
