.xls write problems

Hello,

I’m having trouble writing .xls files from my machine. I’m trying several different plugins, but none seem to work.

using LunchBox

using ExcelWrite

using classic TT Toolbox @DavidMans

This error message seems the most helpful, but I’m still at a loss about what to do.

You can open Excel on its own normally? Reading Excel is OK?

Yes, Excel is working fine on it’s own. I’m stumped.

PancakeSpreadsheet α: Read / write xls(x) files without Excel

This plugin makes use of the NPOI library which allows you to manipulate xls(x) files without Excel installed and it is faster. It should work both on Windows and macos but macos isn’t tested. If you need to write Excel files / modify opened spreadsheet, please use flow control components (e.g. Wait Until) to make sure they are sequentially ordered otherwise the result is unreliable. If you are using Microsoft office 365, please repair that. It solved my same issue.
