“Copy Objects to Layer” in the Layer panel does not work for selected objects which are in Worksession attached files

CopyToLayer command does work as expected with selected objects from WS attached files.
Since the CopyToLayer command works it should be possible for “Copy Objects to Layer” in the Layer panel to work in the same situations. With Worksession enabled in Rhino for Mac V9 new users will be using Worksession. This is a bug which should be fixed.

Select objects in a Worksession attached file.
Move the cursor over a WS active file layer and right click. The drop down menu appears.
Click on “Copy Objects to Layer”
Nothing happens. The objects are not copied to the layer and there is no notification of the failure.
This is bad. It’s reasonable for a user to not realize the objects were on a WS attached file, not the WS active file and assume they were copied successfully. Then a while later they go looking for the copies only for them not to exist.

It needs to be fixed for V9, and should not be too complicated since CopyToLayer works.
