It has been discussed before but I don’t think there was any solution offered, and in some cases it really would be helpful to be able to take steps back while selecting objects or sub-objects, especially for complex selection sets. Sometimes also it is not easy to unselect a selected object/subobject, especially when they are a part of a group.
Would it be possible to have a ‘selection undo’ that works similar way to Ctrl-Z for main undo stack and Home-End keys for view change undo? I imagine it would just allow to take back each selection step, while in-command or not.
Yes! from the description it sounds exactly like what I was asking for. Don’t have a chance to test it yet as I don’t have WIP running but hopefully it works as expected. Thanks for pinging me, I missed the announcement post.
