Can we have such a magic trick in current WIP?
With Copy option and history enabled it will be quite useful, I think.
You’ll be able to just update text field and get the resulting pulled curves on (poly)surface.
And in case of DocumentUserText usage in the text objects you’ll get an automatic update of Part number (as an example) in the drawing and corresponding engraving lines on the 3D geometry.

Hello- this is probably, well, maybe, scriptable - the History part may be hard, clunky. It is not something that will be in Rhino itself in V8.
