Window on roof bug + wrong wall extend after updates

windows with host: roof, when placed in roof with exterior alignment → by object setting, the top surface of the roof is not getting it’s opening hole.

Another thing I noticed, is that the wall-extend to roofs that have substractions on them, do not work nicely, they extend all the layers together they do not “break” per wall-layer till they touch substracted roofs.

In general, I believe roofs in VA, is the part that needs total refactoring in terms of getting a real-life roof - with correct cuts, and all the other things I’ve pointed out such preview of slopes, wrong numbering object-gh of slopes etc. Roofs in VA is a total pain IMO. A roof with structure and nice cuts for Design Development stage gets at least 1 week to create. Please think about giving a priority to the roof component - both rhino command and gh components.

Can you attach a sample file with this issue?

Can you attach a sample file about this case too?

Can you provide examples of wrong cuts so we can better address these issues?

The “no preview” of roofs in Grasshopper issue has been fixed in VisualARQ 3.10 RC4 ( VisualARQ 3 - Version 3.10 RC4 released - #4 by _zachary )
