Hi @litma if you can share this file we will investigate it.

VA roof.3dm (15.6 MB)

Thanks Stefano, we will revise this issue and get back to you when we fix it.
Consider using a solid of subtraction and the vaSubtractSolids command as a workaround in the meantime.

Hi @litma I let you know we fixed this issue in VisualARQ 3.8 RC1 update: VisualARQ 3 - Version 3.8 RC1 released

so far, after few attempts, I only had Rhino crashing when trying to extend curtain walls on curved roof

Hi @litma I regret to hear that. Are you trying this with the 3.8 RC1? We tested this issue with the model you sent us, and the curtain wall extension was working fine. Can you share the file again, just in case there is any change that causes the crash?

test cw.7z (17.8 MB)Actually in the very model that I sent you first I just verified it works, but earlier I didn’t have it and just made a quick model with similar parts that not always works and It seems not to work when the curtain wall is done frome curve instead of ordinary way, so basically a 3d curve for VA. I attach it here with both cases

Hi Stefano,
I could reproduce the crash. We will revise this and fix it as soon as possible. I’ll keep you posted.

Hi @litma we have fixed this crash with the curtain wall extend in the VisualARQ 3.8.1 update: VisualARQ 3 - Version 3.8.1 released
