Widening the Active Layer Display

I understand there’s a command new to Rhino 8 which will widen the active/selected layer display field outlined in the image below. I can’t seem to find it.

It’s not a command, it’s an advanced setting:

Rhino.Options.Appearance.StatusBarLayerPaneWidth

You’ll need to restart Rhino for that change to take effect.
