Why is Rhino 7 checking for Rhino 8 license incessantly?

I close the window and it pops up again in 2 minutes.
Is there something I can do to suppress this?

Also this has happened. Again, it’s quite odd to have RH8 notifications or pop-ups in RH7

If you upgraded from Rhino 7 to Rhino 8, that means it’s still one (linked) license. Perhaps why it now says Rhino 8… Just a theory though.

interesting. these notices on rh8 don’t prevent me from opening rh7 though

we have floating licenses at my workplace. some 7 some 8
