Why does Rhino affect my computer audio?

When I’m switching between Rhino and other programs on my computer, the sound quality is affected. It sounds like Rhino is applying a slight gain boost, some reverb, and overall muddies my sound quality. Is there a setting where I can disable whatever Rhino is doing here?

Thank you!

Rhino itself is not obviously not deliberately doing anything with your audio. I remember a time when I could hear noise from my video card, varying depending on how hard it was working. What is your system, what is your audio setup?

FWIW I find that this also happens at least when joining a Google Meet (no Rhino running).

Hi @rchardwi
This could be due to the setting in windows sound control panel/communications tab.
