Rhino Running Slower than Previously on Same Computer

Rhino is running a lot slower on my PC than it was a few months ago (or maybe a bit further back).

Specifically, a rendered viewport for the same model used to rotate much more smoothly than it does now. For instance, if I turn on a turntable, it’s quite jerky whereas previously it was entirely smooth. It is a reasonably big file and detailed rendering is being done, but the point is that I’m quite sure it used to run way better.

With turntable on, I check my computers performance and the CPU usage is only at 10% and the memory only 35%. So it seems like Rhino isn’t using everything it could be using.

So I’m wondering if there is something I can do to get things running faster again.

Some computer specs:
Processor 11th Gen Intel(R) Core™ i7-11700K @ 3.60GHz, 3501 Mhz, 8 Core(s)
Memory 32 gb
Video card GeForce RTX 3060

Attached is an example of the model I’m working with.

Thank you,
Sam

Please post your “SystemInfo” from Rhino.
Thanks

I opened your file and it seems fine.
I ran SaveAs and stripped out materials and plug-in data.
The file dropped from 9mb to 1mb.

I do not what what was stripped out as I have no plug-ins.

Here’s the stripped model.
Is it better behaved?

Wow, my monitor was connected to the integrated graphics port, duh, smacks head…

Thanks!!

That would explain it.
We would have seen that in your SystemInfo too.

That’s where I saw it, handy command you alerted me to, thanks!
