What to fill in as value for t12 for a orthotropic material in Karamba3D

Hi everyone!

I am setting up a material in grashopper with Karamba3D and I have a data sheet for the material properties in excel. Though I was wondering what I should fill in in the t12, which should be sheer strength between direction 1 and 2, though I’m working with plywood so I have 4 values. Planar, and panel and for both directions (parallel and perpandicular). Which of the ones do you recommend I use here or is the t12 a combination of these?

Thank you in advance!

Here’s a picture of the data:

Hi @Elisa_van_Klink_van,
the value is used in Karamba3D for calculating the Tsai-Wu failure criterion (see e.g. here). I recommend to use the smallest rolling shear strength of the wood layers.
