What command to remember layer visibility and also hidden objects?

I wish to save the state of layers on and off and also the objects I have hidden, so I can r/c hide A and show A, as well as those just given the hide command.

which command will do all that ?

I have no experience with this, but I guess LayerStateManager
is the command that does what you need.
