Restore views hidden and not hidden what method?

I wanted to save a state with most objects hidden. so as to restore to it.
I had objects I am working on, on a new layer

So I did a layerStateManager and named the hidden state. ‘Objects hidden’
I then showed all objects took two and rotate copied them, and moved them to the layer I was working on.
I then did the restore to the ‘objects hidden’ state, but the objects remained on show.

so what is the method to save a hidden state, so as to restore to it ? and show only my new layer. with its added rotated objects ?

Hi Steve -

You’ve lost me in the specifics of that scene, but, generally, you’d use the Snapshots command for this.

Not in Rhino 5, though.
