Walls visual connection

there been a change in the nature of the connection between the walls? in recent versions the walls laid on top of each other do not visually connect and see the separation between them.
Can this be changed?

Hi @11170,

Since version 2.8.4, VisualARQ objects take into account the option “Tangent Edges” of the display mode, just like Rhino poly-surfaces.

You can disable them in the “Display” panel or Tools > Options > View > Display Modes .

Regards,

Enric

thanks!

Sorry to revive this thread…

The solution works for a normal 3D view mode, but when making a section drawing, it seems the tangent lines still show? What am I missing on how to fix this? Roamed the forums but cant fins a solution.

Sorry if this is a simple solution, just started learning, and quite impressed with VA so far!

Thank you!

Hi @lourencovp take a look at this post: How can I show or hide the tangent lines between walls? - VisualARQ
If you have an example where this doesn’t work, please share it here or send it to visualarq@asuni.com, and we will take a look.

Hi Francesc, I had seen that post but unfortunately it didn’t help.
Not sure if I’m missing something, here is the example file where the issue is shown.

I duplicated the wall styles so they all have the same properties and thus should join, and the section properties are the same, so in elevation and section things with same properties should just join in the drawing, correct?

I tagged in a revision cloud the issues.

Thank you so much for the help!

@lourencovp thanks for the file. It doesn’t work either in my PC, so I’ll report it to the development team, and get back to you when they fix it.
