Waffle Lattice Extruding/Cutting Along Multiple Axis

Hi all,

I’m attempting to create an interlocking waffle lattice. I’ve been trying to first extrude along the curves and then cut out sections of each to create the locking part (reference goal image). I’ve tried planar and a few other methods to create a plane I can extrude along the curve but can’t seem to figure it out :frowning:

  1. Extruding the curve/brep for depth. I’ve attempted to sweep along an offset surface but keep getting errors. I also tried brep closest point to planar fit but it stacks them all outside the structure.

  2. Extruding small rectangles along each intersection to create the waffle intersections. Similar issue with orienting the plane properly. I’ve tried offsetting the curve and sweeping between but also no luck.

I’d like to retain the part of the file that allows for rotating the shells and creating the intersection but I understand if a certain level or rework is required to simplify the solution (aka I’m sure the way I’m doing it isn’t the path of least resistance)

Thanks!
