Hi @enric, the rail alignment option in the railing styles window seems to have no effect. The rail control points are always center. Is this a bug or am I doing something wrong? Thanks - Silvan

The rail alignment affects how the rail is aligned with the rest of the components of the railing. For example, if you have a post that is wider than the rail, the alignment will allow you to specify how the rail is aligned with respect to the post. Take a look at this screenshots:

If you want to change the alignment of the railing with respect to the path curve, just use the railing alignment option:
